Plum Blossom Season

Every February a plum tree in Tai Po will come to a blossom moment. This attract many photography hobbyists. They grasp the chance because the flowering will only last a week's time. (Nikon D810)

Tai Kwun

In Chinese, Cha Kwun means police station. Tai Kwun means a big police station. This Tai Kwun presents a wide range of heritage, contemporary art, performing arts and lifestyle experiences in the restored and revitalised Central Police Station compound, which comprises three Declared Monuments, the former Central Police Station, the Central Magistracy and Victoria Prison.

Kowloon Masjid Open Day

A Mosque is a place of worship for Muslims. The Kowloon Mosque in Nathan Road, opened in 1984, can accommodate about 3,500 worshipers. It is the largest mosque in Hong Kong.

Islam is an Abrahamic, monotheistic religion teaching that there is only one God (Allah), and that Muhammad is a messenger of God.

Muslims are people who follow or practice Islam. They consider the Quran, their holy book, to be the verbatim word of God.

Performing prayers five times a day. Prayers are recited in the Arabic language and they are done with the chest in direction of the kaaba. ( A building at the center of Islam's most important mosque, Great Mosque of Mecca)

According to the 2016 census, Islam is practised by 4.1% of the population of Hong Kong, or about 300,000 Muslims. Of this number, 50,000 are Chinese, 150,000 are Indonesians and 30,000 are Pakistanis, with the rest from other parts of the world. The vast majority of Muslims in Hong Kong are Sunni.

The interior of Kowloon Masjid is simple but solemn. People shown friendly and they love each other.
