Illusion

I remember I took this picture was in an early morning while I walked past a secondary school in Cheung Kwan O. The plant in front and the empty frame create an illusion of image.

Butterfly Garden

Today I go there (Butterfly Garden 鳳園) for a walk and prepare taking some butterfly pictures. Disappointing the number of butterflies reducing and the eco-system is destroyed. A middle class residential area is recently built there and government stops protecting the rural countryside anymore. Sad this is how today Hong Kong's real situation.

Falling petal

In Hong Kong there is an historic monastery named Chi Lin Nunnery. It is a quiet and peaceful place to let people study about buddhism and life. One Sunday morning I with my photography friends go there to take pictures for pleasure. Falling petal is the focus in this frame.

Playing sands

I always visit Lamma Island because it has a beautiful beach with very good water quality. I took this photo with my Leica X1 camera which is a slow camera. But I remembered I finish this shot with only 10 seconds while I saw children playing sands on the beach. I walked near them point and shot but they were so shocked by my rude action. I said sorry to them but they seemed not too understand my meaning. Later I knew that they were Japanese children.

Early Moon

I remember this picture was taken when i was just off duty with a tired body in the evening around 7 o'clock. Every night I walk through a park to the train station by which is a silent and private garden. That night I saw the early moon above the trees and felt mystery and quiet. This feeling was strange when you stayed in a busy city. So I recorded the scene by a pocket DC immediately.

Street Children

Five chairs, five kids with various facial expression. Actually they are some kids living in the Lamma Island where is a popular island in Hong Kong. People go there for hiking, fishing and swimming........I took this photo when I saw the kids who were discussing something. They were selling some popcorn while they were eating too.

Looping

This photo named "Looping" because of the shape like television monitor signal feedback. Actually it has a Chinese title 回 and this means back and forth. I took this picture during a 4-days trip to Cambodia in 2012 with my good friends who are also photography hobbyist.

A Glance Of The City

I took this picture during my lunch to the restaurant nearby at noon. Originally I was testing my camera unintentionally, but when I saw through the viewfinder I was attracted by the misty of city shape. Interesting is the banister forms one part of the city shape.

When Creative Giant Looks At You

"When creative giant looks at you" is a photo I took while I was visiting the artwork exhibition of Pablo Picasso at the Hong Kong Hertiage Museum in 2012. I took this shot while I was standing on the escalator and suddenly attracted by his eye contact. Interesting to see five modern people do their own living.
Some sharing about Pablo Picasso - "Others have seen what is and asked why. I have seen what could be and asked why not."
"Art is a lie that makes us realize the truth." - Pablo Picasso
